Personal Loans

Moneyline offers personal loans to new and existing customers

Loan applications for all purposes will be considered.  These can include household goods, cars, consolidating debts, Christmas etc.

Our typical APR is 31.6%.  A 3% administration charge (minimum £7.50, maximum £30) is payable at the time the loan is released.

Loans must be repaid either on a weekly or monthly basis through a Sheffield Credit Union account.  If you do not have an account we can help you to open one.

What you need to do to apply for a loan

  • Visit or ring (0114 2760787) our main office and ask for a Moneyline Loan application form.
  • Arrange a date for an interview with one of our loans officers.

What you need to bring to the interview

  • A fully completed application form.  Please answer all the questions fully and honestly.  This will help us to assess your circumstances and enable us to make a decision on your application.  If it is apparent that information has been withheld or appears to be false, your application will not be considered.
  • Full details of the purpose of the loan.  We need to know exactly what you need the loan for.  Please be specific on the application form and where applicable estimates / quotes will be required.  If your loan is for consolidating existing debts, payment books and settlement figures will be requested.
  • Proof of your identity.  Please click on this link for a list of acceptable ID.
  • An up to date Bank or Building Society statement ( if you have an account).
  • Evidence of your current income.  Wage slips, evidence of benefits payments, bank statements etc.  This confirms your regular income and will help us to work out affordable loan payments.
  • A completed credit union application form and £1 to join.  All loan payments must be made through a Sheffield Credit Union account.

The above information is required to help us to deal with your application speedily and efficiently.  If you arrive for your appointment without a fully completed application form and all supporting documentation your application may be declined.
