Working with Sheffield companies

We are now working with several companies to offer employees the benefits of being a credit union member and having savings taken directly out of wages.  People find this is a simple, disciplined way to save and it is done at minimum cost to employers.

Participating organisations are:

Sheffield City Council

Sheffield Homes

Sheffield Co-operative Society

Sheffield Community Transport

Sheffcare

Stocksbridge Training and Enterprise Partnership

William Hill

We are also in discussions with other major employers in the city.

If you are a permanent employee (full time or part-time) of one of the above companies and would like to join and save through your wages then fill in the application form and payroll deduction form and send them to our main office.  You do not need to provide any additional identification but we do need your bank details on the application form.

Why save through my wages?

  • It's the easiest way to save regularly.  After a while you don't miss it but it is growing into a useful nest egg.

  • Easy to withdraw money - just send us a Share Withdrawal form.  There are a variety of ways we can get the money to you.

  • It's easy to change the amount you save.  Just send us another payroll deduction slip.

  • You can save for your children or grandchildren as well.  Young people can have credit union accounts and you can pay into them from your wages.

  • You will have access to low interest loans.  See the loans section

  • You can have secret savings that only you know about!

If you would like to save through your wages but do not work for one of the companies above please contact us.  Your employer may be willing to work with us to offer you these benefits.

If you are an employer and would be interested in offering this facility to your staff please contact Bob or Sue at 2760787 or e-mail us at payroll@fisy1.co.uk
